We are huge supporters of the Independent Fashion Movement here at Ill Rated. We are really excited that there is a “changing of the guards” going on in the fashion world these days, with more independent brands pushing their product forward in the industry. Today, we turn our focus on a local independent brand “House of Cassette“, coming out of Los Angeles downtown artist district.
House of Cassette provides essential pieces for this class of bold new creatives. The current market that caters to the fashion forward youth group has exhausted themselves with product that are over designed and over processed(Church!); brands upon brands lack substance and are simply over hyped (No shit!); numbing down their consumers with second class product. What differentiates the House of Cassette from the norm is their unique presentation and fusion of high style, classic themes and a streak of rebellion.
